K Gunnor Petersen
(1907 - 1982)
Gouache and watercolor illustrator with a precise, no-no-nonsense style and a terrific sense of capturing the humor of the moment. Ad campaigns for Colgate, White Rock, Listerine. Also long associated with two well-known powdered brands: Carnation and Ovaltine. Slick work for Good Housekeeping. Newswork for King Features and American Weekly. Sometimes credited as K Gunnor, Gunnor Petersen, Gunnor Peterson, and probably more.
